Designer's Note:This design was inspired by one of two gorgeous, Star and Moon, silver repousse boxes that are part of the treasure of an ancient convent in Santiago de Compostela. Starting in the Middle Ages, prominent families would "marry" a daughter to the church and the convent would receive their lavish dowries. As a result, the convent was sacked repeatedly over the centuries but it still holds many treasures.
