Solid Hill Tribe silver is fashioned into a wide band that is split open in the center, and stamped with geometric patterns. Cut-out work on the top of the ring extends and tapers to about 3/4 the way around the band, and ends with overlapping edges, allowing for size adjustment. This piece is a classic Hill Tribe style ring, with its hand-wrought details, hand-stamped patterns, antiqued and low-sheen finish.
This ring is slightly adjustable by opening the back of the ring.
Thai Hill Tribe Silver has a higher silver content than sterling (92.5%), and is typically 95 - 99% pure silver. The higher silver content makes the silver slightly softer and therefore, easier to pound and shape.
